List of AMD Trinity Notebook Processors

Here is the list of the AMD’s A-Series Trinity Processors ( AMD Calls them Trinity APUs).

Table : AMD A-Series Trinity APUs

This is a good list, howeverm a lot of things go unanswered. How can we compare the graphics in these processors. Also, if you can bring the desktop Trinity list, it will help us.

Lastlty a general comparison of these Trinity APUs with Intel’s Ivy Bridge will be appreciated.

  2. Eddie says:

Can you also post the list of the Intel’s Ivy Bridge processors ( laptop and desktops).

    Thanks,

  3. Samantha says:

Why do you call this a list of Trinity Processors ? It should be List of Trinity APUs

  4. putty12 says:

How does calling it an APU or a Processor matter to users ? AMD creates confusion by coining another name – it is not going to help either the AMD or the Intel. Just assume Intel starts calling its processor MPU ( Mixed Processing Unit) or IPU (Integrated Processing Unit) – does it help Intel or harms it ?

  5. paramount says:

What chipset is used by Trinity ?

  6. ab12 says:

Trinity uses A70M chipset – the same chipset used for the previous generation Llano.

The A70M provides everything that you can think of – six SATA 6Gbps ports, four USB 3.0 ports, 10 USB 2.0 ports, RAID 0/1 support, and basically everything else you need for a mainstream laptop. PCI Express support is for PCIe 2.0 ( not PCI 3.0).
