Intel Pentium B960

Intel realizes that it may produce more processors that can work at higher clock  frequency and the release of the Pentium B960 as higher clocked version of the Pentium Series of the Sandy Bridge line signifies it. The Pentium B960 is clocked at 2.2 GHz – 100 MHz higher that the Pentium B950. Other than that the processor stands same. It has the same integrated graphics ( Base clock 650 MHz and turbo 1.1 GHz).

    Notebooks based upon the B960 already started appearing. Check out Acer Aspire 4752ZG-B962G64Mn , for example. It comes with Pentium B960.

    HP 2000t Series notebooks come with B960 as one of the options.

    Lenovo G570 has the Intel Pentium B960

    It’s a great little laptop for the price I paid. They say the battery life is bad but, as soon as you kill the McAfee center process I found the battery life was extended to five to six hours depending on usuage and it also helped that I depleted the battery a couple of times.
