Intel Core i5-2450M Processor

The Core i5 line of Sandy Bridge processors comes in two flavors and have part numbering as i5-24xxM or the i5-25xxM. The Core i5-25xxM have additional features that include support for the IO Virtualization, Trusted Execution Technology and relatively higher turbo clock ( for both CPU and the integrated graphics).

Core i4-24xxM are less expensive OEM parts.

Core i5-2450M is possibly the last update in the list of the Sandy Bridge processors, before the Ivy Bridge comes in April 2012.
