AMD to replace A4-3400 by A4-3420
Advance Micro Devices is replacing the Llano A4 series APU ( Accelerated Processing Unit) by A4-3420. The newer A4-3420 will have slightly improved performance ( clock frequency bumps by 100 MHz or 3.7%) . The A4-3420 and the A4-3400 belong to the Llano series of the desktop processors.

The A4-3420 will launch in the last quarter of 2011. The processor will have 2 MB of L2 Cache. Similar to the A4-3400, it will have integrated GPU ( HD 6410D) and will have a TDP rating of 65 Watts.
The predecessor of A4-3420 ( aka 3400 ) as a CPU clocl frequency of 2700 MHz. The GPU runs at 600 MHz.
We are expecting more details of A4-3420. We expect the model to be be competitive in price.
