AMD Llano A4-3330MX Vs Trinity A6-4600M

A glimpse of the forthcoming Trinity processor can be obtained by comparing the fastest dual core notebook Llano APU – the A4-3330MX with the Trinity A6-4600M

– While this information is still preliminary and not yet officially confirmed by AMD, the dual core Trinity A6-4600 is 400 MHz faster than the Llano A4-3330MX.

– The A6-4600M also comes with a much better integrated graphics.

Stay tuned for the launch of the Trinity some time in June / July 2012.

The AMD A4-3330MX is the fastest dual core Llano notebook processor. It attempts to boost performance at the expense of additional power and with higher 45 Watts TDP rating. The newer Trinity dual cores will improve upon the performance of the processor as well as the graphics bridging the gap between Llano and the Sandy Bride / Ivy Bridge.

The AMD A6-4600M is one of the first Trinity notebook processors sighted. Launching in late 2012, this dual core processor is faster than the fastest dual core Llano processor by a whopping 400 MHz. With a significantly better graphics, this processor has the potential to outsmart the Intel’s Core i3 SSandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge offerings – especially in the integrated graphics area.
