The AMD’s A8-3510MX is a quad core APU ( Accelerated Processing Unit) while the Core i5-2410M is a dual core processor. The i5-2410M does support the Hyperthreading, but, this is not the same as the real core.
In multi threaded environment the A8-3510MX has comparable performance level. In single threaded environment the Core i5-2410M takes leads.
The AMD A8-3510MX turns out to be substantially better in the integrated graphics performance. The Radeon HD 6620G is twice as fast as the HD Graphics 3000 in the Intel’s Core i5-24150M.
